Background

The Postgraduate Academic Forum is a relaxed and open platform designed for graduate students to exchange their outstanding research results. The State Key Laboratory of Earth System Numerical Modeling and Application (LabESM) plans to hold the “2025 LabESM 1st Postgraduate Academic Forum” in Beijing. This forum will focus on the following major topics:

1.Earth System Dynamics Theory: 

• Solid Earth Dynamics

• Multilayer Coupling Dynamics

• Climate Change and Mechanisms

2.Earth System Model Development: 

• Solid Earth Models

• Climate System Models

• Earth System Coupled Models

• Model Algorithm Development

3.Earth System Prediction and Applications: 

• Artificial Intelligence Methods

• Forecasting, Prediction, and Applications

• Global Change Impacts and Responses

December 8, lecture hall (the 12th floor of No.3 building) in IAP

Forum Format

Oral reports and posters will form the core of this forum. Participants arranged in the poster session may also have to share their research highlights within 3-5 minutes by PPT. The excellent reports and posters will both be awarded.

The abstract, PPT and poster should be in English. The oral report can be in either Chinese or English.
